Happy New Year

If someone had told you, back in March, 2020, that your life was about to change, what would you have thought? Maybe you were going to win the lottery? Meet the love of your life? Have a baby? Land your dream job? Joke’s on you. It’s a pandemic. Change is hard. Forced change is even worse. At the beginning, I think we all thought it would be over quickly. Because that is what we are used to. Amazon is quick. Streaming is quick. McDonald’s is quick. Turns out pandemics are not. They are SLOW. Come on, COVID, get with the program. At any rate, here we are. We have made it this far. Thank goodness the human race is resilient.

We want to take a minute to thank all of you. Our customers. Your purchases kept us alive during this uncertain and terrifying time. Our sales did not waver and that amazed us. Maybe we should start calling salsa ‘the comfort food of the generation’.

We want to take a minute to thank our employees, as well. We made our work environment as safe as possible, but leaving the house during a pandemic is still scary. Thanks for showing up. Thanks for being part of our team. And thanks for sticking with us through all the ups and downs of the national glass shortage, supply chain issues, and the looming uncertainty. You guys are rock stars.

Now that 2022 is upon us, resolutions, promises, and goals abound. Our promise to you in 2022 is to continue making the best salsa on the planet. Giving you more recipes. Creating a more engaging social media environment. Give aways, contests, and collaborations. We are here for it. We hope you are, too.
